We enjoyed our stay very much. The service ladies were friendly and understanding. Tiny rooms, but with a/c& heating. Wifi free. Breakfast was pretty tasty.

Ok place to stay for one or two nights. Pretty cheap. Total self service in reception. Close to city center. Two roads go by very close, but the sound insulation at least in the separate hut was good so I could sleep there well and traffic noise did not bother at all.

Positives: 24-hour check-in, English friendly staff; free parking; walking distance to the centre. Negatives: huge, uncomfortable pillows; no mirrors in the room we stayed in apart from the bathroom; no hangers for the towels in the bathroom.

Hotel is brand new. Great decor in an over 100 year building. In a room you'll find plates, glasses, cutlery,corkscrew, microwave and fridge- what else do you really need?Despite the location (just by the roundabout) it's really quiet. Nice breakfast. Walking distance to the city centre.

Please be aware of the ‘automatic check-in’ which turned off as we inserted our card and ended up being double charged. We provided bank statement to prove this, yet from September we are refused our money back! Overall the hotel is good …

How was our stay?....non existent. We found the hotel via booking.com. We called directly to confirm early hours check in and were encouraged to book direct with the hotel, not booking.com which foolishly, we did. After travelling for 12 hrs, the final leg, a 2.5 hour drive, we arrived at just before 4am on 16th April. On arrival, we entered the property using the door pin provided, and proceeded to check in electronically with the code provided...it didn't work...despite numerous attempts and phone calls, no success. We were left to fend for ourselves. The following day, we contacted the hotel, who took no responsibility for the issue, in fact, suggested that there was not evidence of us being there (apart off course the security cameras showing us in the reception area and a photo of the check in screen showing the code provided, date, time and location stamped in the early hours). We offered to meet the next day to provide the evidence in question. The hotels response was that they could see no reason to meet! Not only the manager couldn't see any reason to meet, the owner suggested there was an IT issue which they couldn't source, and also took no responsibility for the lack of service. So, I'm sure the hotel is lovely should you be given the pleasure and privilege of getting into the room that you booked. Customer service at its poorest...
